Quick And Easy Makeup Tutorial

Good Morning Loves,

I filmed a makeup tutorial yesterday for my YouTube channel on a quick and fresh face for those days when we just don't have the time to spend thirty minutes to get ready. I think this tutorial is perfect for moms and teens especially for back to school time! I remember getting up at 5:00am to get dressed and ready for school, and lets just say that makeup was the last thing on my mind!

I used all MAC products except for my foundation which is the Revlon Colorstay 24hr foundation in the color 350 rich tan. This is my favorite foundation of the moment! its perfect for oily combination skin and it keeps me pretty matte all day. I will list everything I used below and please feel free to swap out any of these products for drugstore ones if you want. I hope this video is helpful for those of you who want an easy go to routine! and as always stay blessed and beautiful xoxo

Revlon Kissable Balm Stain Review

Hello Loves! Sorry I have been on hiatus for about a week or so now, but im back with a review of the Revlon kissable balm stains. I bought several of them at my local Walmart a few weeks ago and ive finally had a chance to try them all out. They retail for about $7.50 and they have a twist up top which I love! no sharpening yaaay!!!!!!

Seriously though these things are my new favorite go to lip colors. They are highly pigmented and just like the label promises they go on smooth and feel like a moisturizing lip balm. They literally last ALL day. I applied mine at 6:00am and at 7:00pm I still had color. Now you will have to touch up after eating or wiping your mouth a few times. My Favorite shade has to be Sweetheart. I tried this shade on several of my coworkers from very fair skin to dark skinned and it looked good on all of them, I also got tons of compliments on the color myself.

                                                                        Sweetheart
                                                                        Honey
                                                                       Darling

                                                                    Rendevous
                                                                        Lovesick

Overall I would definitely recommend these lip stains to everyone even if you only choose one I promise you will love them. Until next time Stay Blessed And Beautiful xoxo

Dream Big

Have you ever dreamed of all the things you want in life? maybe that trip you always wanted to take, or the home you will build from the ground up, or maybe your dreams are more simple like getting that promotion you've been working hard for. Ive always had big dreams for my life, even as a child I can remember telling people I was going to be rich and famous, and as ive gotten older I don't so much desire the fame anymore but boy would it be nice to be rich! LOL but seriously I do dream of being able to take care of my family and provide them with things none of us could have ever imagined.  I want to make a difference in the world and help children, the homeless, abuse victims, and so much more. I believe that having money to buy some of the little luxuries in life that we all lust after from time to time is awesome, but we also need to give back and make a difference in this sometimes overly self centered world. I wanted to leave you guys with this post as im sitting in my bedroom drooling over some of the high end items I would love to own, but wouldn't dare waste my money on! Comment below and tell me what do you dream of doing in life? or dream of purchasing?
Stay Blessed and Beautiful Loves xoxo

BH Cosmetics Palettes

Good Morning Loves,

I purchased a few things from BH Cosmetics this past weekend when they had a HUGE sale on all of their items and I wanted to share a few of them with you. I bought the 120 color palette in the first and 2nd editions. there are some beautiful colors in each of these palettes especially for my teens who want to experiment with some fun and funky looks!

This is the second edition palette, im in love with these colors! there's a good mix between matte and shimmer colors and a good range of neutral and brights

The above two pictures are from the first edition palette. as you can see the colors aren't too different
but you do have a more extensive matte shadow selection. These palettes are super affordable I got both for $25! now originally they are about $25 a piece I did get them on sale but even at full price they are a great deal! If you guys want to check out the site for more inexpensive palettes its www.bhcosmetics.com
Until next time loves stay blessed and beautiful xoxo

Must Have Moisturizers

Hello Loves, as promised today is part two of my skincare basics series! Today I want to talk about some of the moisturizers I have tried and loved. First let me begin by saying  that moisturizing the skin is SUPER important, without moisture our skin would look like a raisin! ok so maybe im exaggerating but seriously without moisture we would have pretty bad looking skin. When we expose our skin to the elements everyday such as, sun, wind, smog, makeup, we pollute it. So what do we do to remove the pollution at the end of the day?... We cleanse and exfoliate, which is great but this also sucks out some of the moisture in our skin. Applying moisturizer is like giving your skin a tall glass of water, to hydrate and replenish it. I always apply my moisturizer after I cleanse and tone and I make sure to moisturize my neck as well, because it is one of the first places on the body to begin to show signs of aging.

Cetaphil is one of my favorite moisturizers and it is so affordable. $10 at walmart $12 at walgreens this is actually made for dry sensitive skin. it has no smell to it and lasts up to a year! its not thick at all but makes the face feel instantly hydrated. if you are oily like me I recommend only using this moisturizer at night just to keep the face from looking greasy.

This Clean and Clear moisturizer is very light weight, oil free and contains acne medication, so if you suffer from acne or frequent breakouts this will be perfect for you. it has no smell and is about $6 at Walmart.

The last but definitely not least of my favorite moisturizers is the Origins Ginzing moisturizer. this product is truly amazing, as all of Origins products this moisturizer is plant based and contains coffee beans and ginseng to make the skin look more radiant and awake. I love the smell its like putting fresh orange juice on your face! I hope this post was helpful and until next time stay blessed and beautiful xoxo

Skincare Basics

Good Afternoon loves! I wanted to talk a little bit about skincare today, as most of you can tell, I am obsessed with makeup! but before you can get that flawless face that all of us want, you have to treat and care for the bare canvas Aka the face. I know a lot of women who are just starting out with makeup and aren't quite sure what products to buy or what brushes to use but I always ask them "What are you using for your skin" so I decided to do a four part series here on my blog about the best face washes, toners, moisturizers, and eye creams.

I will be showing you some of my tried and true products and I will also be trying out some new products for you guys! I will be starting with affordable drugstore products a I know most of us do NOT have a ton of money to waste on things we may or may not like. I have oily skin so all of the products I will be showing will be for oily/combination skin, if you have normal/dry skin make sure to check the ingredients before use because some of these products may be too drying for your skin.

Here are four of my favorite drugstore face washes, this is the first step in your skincare routine without a good face wash to remove excess makeup, oil, and dirt, your skin will look dull and lack luster and your makeup will not be flawless and beautiful. All of these are oil free so if you have oily skin like me this wont make you look like a big grease ball! each one of these face washes were less than $8 at Walmart super affordable I know!

Feel free to mix it up. You can easily purchase two of these and use one for day and one for night or just use one for morning and night its completely up to you. Let me know how you guys like these and until next time be blessed and beautiful! xoxo
