Must Have Moisturizers

Hello Loves, as promised today is part two of my skincare basics series! Today I want to talk about some of the moisturizers I have tried and loved. First let me begin by saying  that moisturizing the skin is SUPER important, without moisture our skin would look like a raisin! ok so maybe im exaggerating but seriously without moisture we would have pretty bad looking skin. When we expose our skin to the elements everyday such as, sun, wind, smog, makeup, we pollute it. So what do we do to remove the pollution at the end of the day?... We cleanse and exfoliate, which is great but this also sucks out some of the moisture in our skin. Applying moisturizer is like giving your skin a tall glass of water, to hydrate and replenish it. I always apply my moisturizer after I cleanse and tone and I make sure to moisturize my neck as well, because it is one of the first places on the body to begin to show signs of aging.

Cetaphil is one of my favorite moisturizers and it is so affordable. $10 at walmart $12 at walgreens this is actually made for dry sensitive skin. it has no smell to it and lasts up to a year! its not thick at all but makes the face feel instantly hydrated. if you are oily like me I recommend only using this moisturizer at night just to keep the face from looking greasy.

This Clean and Clear moisturizer is very light weight, oil free and contains acne medication, so if you suffer from acne or frequent breakouts this will be perfect for you. it has no smell and is about $6 at Walmart.

The last but definitely not least of my favorite moisturizers is the Origins Ginzing moisturizer. this product is truly amazing, as all of Origins products this moisturizer is plant based and contains coffee beans and ginseng to make the skin look more radiant and awake. I love the smell its like putting fresh orange juice on your face! I hope this post was helpful and until next time stay blessed and beautiful xoxo

Skincare Basics

Good Afternoon loves! I wanted to talk a little bit about skincare today, as most of you can tell, I am obsessed with makeup! but before you can get that flawless face that all of us want, you have to treat and care for the bare canvas Aka the face. I know a lot of women who are just starting out with makeup and aren't quite sure what products to buy or what brushes to use but I always ask them "What are you using for your skin" so I decided to do a four part series here on my blog about the best face washes, toners, moisturizers, and eye creams.

I will be showing you some of my tried and true products and I will also be trying out some new products for you guys! I will be starting with affordable drugstore products a I know most of us do NOT have a ton of money to waste on things we may or may not like. I have oily skin so all of the products I will be showing will be for oily/combination skin, if you have normal/dry skin make sure to check the ingredients before use because some of these products may be too drying for your skin.

Here are four of my favorite drugstore face washes, this is the first step in your skincare routine without a good face wash to remove excess makeup, oil, and dirt, your skin will look dull and lack luster and your makeup will not be flawless and beautiful. All of these are oil free so if you have oily skin like me this wont make you look like a big grease ball! each one of these face washes were less than $8 at Walmart super affordable I know!

Feel free to mix it up. You can easily purchase two of these and use one for day and one for night or just use one for morning and night its completely up to you. Let me know how you guys like these and until next time be blessed and beautiful! xoxo

Go With The Flow Pt 3

Go With The Flow Pt 2

This is a continuation of the photoshoot I did yesterday since all of my pictures wouldn't fit!

Go With The Flow

Hey Loves, one of the things I love most, besides music and makeup of course, is fashion! now don't get me wrong im not a fashion expert but I do love to dress up, put on my makeup and feel sexy! Today I did a little photo shoot in one of the most comfortable dresses I own. I love the way it flows below the waist, and the cut outs on the top add just the right amount of sensuality. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did! until next time stay blessed and beautiful xoxo

Dinner With Friends

Hello Loves, last night I enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Cheesecake Factory it is one of my absolute favorite places to eat. If you've never been there and you live in Houston you've got to check it out! they have the BEST cheesecake in almost any flavor you can dream up. I always get the avocado eggrolls which sound kind of weird but are amazing! they're served warm with a sweet kind of basil sauce love love love them!

What I really wanted to share with you all is the makeup I wore out to dinner. I was going for a little glam but not too overdone. I did a champagne color on my lids with some warm neutrals in the crease to smoke it out a bit and a matte plum lip which I achieved using only a lip liner.  Makeup is my first love so I hope you guys enjoy this look! check out my YouTube channel for more beauty related videos! www.youtube.com/firstladybebe1

Until next time stay blessed and beautiful! xoxo

Facebook Fan Page and Hot Summer Movies

Good Morning Loves! I'm super excited to share my Facebook fan page with you all. I created this page to interact with all my viewers and to keep everyone updated on what im doing here on my blog as well as my YouTube channel. I hope all of you will stop by and like the page!

On another note I wanted to talk about two of my new favorite summer movies. Im an action type of girl I love movies with fast cars and fine men! but then again what woman doesn't? one of the movies I saw this week that I absolutely loved was Fast And The Furious 6 with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Ludacris, The Rock, Tyrese Gibson and many other excellent actors.

I wont give any details away just in case you haven't had a chance to see this awesome movie yet, butt I will say that I left the theatre drooling over all this eye candy and dying to drive home at 100 miles an hour (which I absolutely did NOT do, and don't recommend you doing either)

The next movie I saw and thoroughly enjoyed was White House Down with Jamie Fox and Channing Tatum. I wasn't sure if I would like this movie at all and I was kind of skeptical about going to see it, but I am really glad I did! these papi chulos put on an excellent show and I would definitely recommend seeing this before it leaves the theatre.
Both Movies would be great to see with family and friends or your boyfriend/girlfriend. I love the fact that neither one had any sex scenes or inappropriate activities going on that would prevent you from taking your kids with you.

Ill be working on a new beauty video for my YouTube channel this week and hopefully another vlog so I hope you guys will check me out! until next time Stay Blessed and Beautiful!!!xoxo

Things To Try

Good Morning Loves! Sorry I've been away for a few days, I've been working really hard at cleaning and organizing my home. I'm a pretty clean person but I really want to get everything completely organized so I always know where things are.

One of my goals for the next few weeks is to try out some new beauty products and review them on this blog for you guys. The first product I'm going to try is the L'oreal just bitten lip stains. I know that most of you have already tried these products but I of course was hesitant to do so since lip stains are usually very drying and that is something I do not like.
So I'll be trying a few of those shades out and posting swatches and my review of them here! Please leave comments below if there are any products you want me to try out and review. Until next time stay blessed and beautiful!

Ranch Turkey Burgers

Hey loves! I'm spending the day organizing and deep cleaning my kitchen,  which is the first room on my list of total home organization! Lol but after a few hours of scrubbing and cleaning I decided to take a lunch break and make some super simple ranch turkey burgers. I had all the ingredients at home and just decided to kind if play around with them and see what I came up with! Wala ranch turkey burgers! If you're not into turkey these would be delicious with ground beef as well. Hope you enjoy my recipe and as always be blessed and beautiful! Xo
I bought these pre packaged turkey patties at Walmart
Season with ranch dip mix, salt, and pepper
Turkey is very soft so your patty may fall apart (Mine did!) so I just formed them to my liking
Spray a non stick skillet with Pam or whatever cooking spray you prefer
I have an electric stove so I cooked my burgers on a setting of 5 if you have a gas stove medium high heat would be ideal
Instead of guacamole with chips I decided to add my version of guac to my burgers.

I cut my avocado in half then scooped out the contents into a bowl
Dice your tomatoes and add to the bowl
I added a little salt and pepper after this but forgot to take a picture.
Take a fork and mash your avocado and tomatoes to your liking. I added some fresh lime juice to keep the avocado from browning.
Looks messy but tastes delicious :)
By this time your burgers should be browning nicely. Make sure to flip them every once in a while.
I warmed these whole wheat buns in the microwave for about 30 seconds then spread ranch dressing on both sides instead of mayo.
Burgers should take about 15-20 mins to cook completely, then just add to bread.
Add your guac to the other half of bread and place on top of burgers. I had some slice watermelon with mine! Enjoy
